This one-hour workshop will introduce you to the purposes and principles of using reference management software to keep track of your reading, from exporting citation data from online resources to organising and annotating your references and PDFs of full-text articles.

We’ll concentrate on using Endnote for this session. Please download Endnote onto your laptop and create an account in preparation for the workshop if possible. We can provide laptops as necessary. 
This is an introduction to reference management software. We aren't able to offer advanced support or solve complex problems in the workshop. Please do contact library@sheffield.ac.uk if you have advanced questions.  

Participants will:
Understand the benefits and limitations of reference management software.
Gain experience of using Endnote
