Introduction to Extended Reality (XR) Art In-Person
This session will introduce you to Extended Reality (XR) and give you the opportunity to experience using XR for both gaming and as a tool for creativity.
You will:
- Learn the fundamentals of using an XR headset
- Learn important health and safety procedures for using a Meta Quest headset
- Experience Virtual Reality (VR) using a Meta Quest headset
- Discover the range of apps accessible via the headsets and how XR can be used beyond gaming
- Create 3D art in XR
This is a face-to-face workshop, in the Digital Commons on Level One of the Information Commons (Room IC 1.20).
