Introduction to 3D Printing and Hands-on 3D Pen

3D printing is a rapidly evolving technology which is influencing a variety of industries, from healthcare to engineering to architecture. 3D printing is also improving the lives of people with disabilities by bringing personal aids to their home. As an example, those who are blind or visually impaired can now experience the landscapes of our planet by touching a 3D printed version of Mount Everest.

Our workshop is perfect for those who are looking to expand their knowledge on technological innovations and those who are new to 3D printing and want to learn more about the different processes involved.

In this workshop we will also explore 3D pens and how they can be used to assist 3D printing.

You will learn:

  • The fundamentals of 3D printing
  • How to find 3D models to print
  • Important health and safety for 3D printing
  • Basic operation of the 3D printing process
  • How to use a 3D pen.

In the last part of the workshop you will also have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with our 3Doodler Start+ 3D pens.
