Research Commons (Western Bank Library: Level 5) Capacity: 40

Description

The Research commons is a large open space with lots of natural light and a range of soft seating options. The room contains a smart touchscreen that may be used as required.  The Research Commons may be booked by staff for events around research. Examples might include meetings of research groups, opening events for exhibitions based around research outcomes or open research monograph interviews with researchers. If in doubt, please submit a request for booking and library staff will review your request. Library staff will confirm your booking as soon as possible. Please do not communicate the Research Commons as the location of your event to your attendees until you receive this confirmation. Library staff may contact you to request further details before approving the booking. If you'd like to come for a look around the space before booking, please email library@sheffield.ac.uk or visit Western Bank Library and ask staff at the welcome desk for directions.
