Creative Library Workshop In-Person

Are you interested in being creative and contributing to the development of the University Library’s Digital Commons? Sign up for this creative workshop organised to coincide with LGBT+ History Month.

Activities will include:

  • exploring queer connections through audio recordings, text, and invisible ink.
  •  designing clothing using fashion sketches to create mixed media designs.
  • sustainably creating clothes that you could wear to any Pride celebrations by redesigning your clothing using the sewing machines, paint, and pens (we’ll also provide some fabrics etc.).

This is a face-to-face workshop, in the Digital Commons on Level One of the Information Commons (Room IC 1.20). Refreshments and creative materials provided free!

This is a research project - visit the website, read the research information form, then print and complete the consent form (or do it on the day!). The session is open to all students at the University of Sheffield and we hope for a good mix of people with lived experiences and allies.
